Last year was all about bright reds, metallics and dark statement walls. This year we are seeing a more classic, lifestyle-based approach for new shades.
This rich, serene color has always been a classic statement shade. But this year we are seeing more of it. I am a big fan of greens for study walls. If that is too bold for you, try it out with just a couple of accent pillows. What a great and easy update that would be for your fall décor!
Neutrals with Pops of Blue
Stick to grays, taupes, and off-whites with a pop of cool blues around the room. This is a go-to color combination that you can’t go wrong with.
Navys, purples and browns with gray undertones create a very peaceful home. Some of our favorite paint colors to use are below.
Walls- Repose Gray SW7015
Agreeable Gray SW7029 Cityscape SW7067 Sensuous Gray SW7081
This color was very popular last year, and it’s still around today. I think it is a perfect color for a girl’s bedroom. Whether they are a five or fifteen- it is a subtle addition of color without being “too pink”.
Sherwin Williams color of year for 2019 is Cavern Clay. This nature-inspired hue adds so much depth to your space.
Jewel Toned Accents
Whether you are bold enough to paint your island a deep blue or just accent with a rug, finding balance with the right doses of color really creates a statement for your home.
